Skill Level: Beginners + Beginners who want more technical skill and experience
In the morning session, students will learn the fundamentals of hand brooms, the processing and handling of broomcorn fibre, sourcing materials in the UK and some history and lore.
14:00-17:00 Afternoon Session
Skill Level: Beginners with hand broom experience who want to learn new technical skills and experience
In the afternoon session (to be booked separately) students will learn to colour block with twine and weave the grip of the fibre that makes up the handle.
Students should expect to take home at least one full sized hand broom.
