Hurl is processed broomcorn - the fibre without the stalk - trimmed to 18" (approximately 46cm). It is the perfect size and the essential material for hand broom and whisk broom making. Soak and weave it. Dye it. Make it your own.
What can I make with each size?
250g - one generous hand broom or whisk and a couple of kitchen brushes
500g - three generous hand brooms or whisks
1kg - six generous hand brooms or whisks, ideal for making gifts
